'Way back when, there used to be a whole niche market of cheaply-produced budget LPs that were sold at dimestores.
 
Back during the first blush of Beatlemania it seemed that every budget label had their own pseudo-fab album in the racks. Typically, there'd be maybe two or four covers of Beatles hits with the rest of the LP devoted to big beat versions of public domain tunes, or better yet, schlocky originals!
 
This collection is dedicated to the non-beatles material from these albums. These cuts span the whole spectrum from pretty good to jaw-dropping ineptitude! On the whole, it's an archeological dig through the detrius of a time long gone.
 
DISCLAIMER: Just so it is perfectly clear, there are no Beatles recordings whatsoever on this disc. All tracks have been pulled from un-copyrighted budget vinyl from the sixties. EMI, CAPITOL, APPLE & RIAA, please take note!
